Just watched some of William Whyte’s classic videos on social spaces and interactions again. It’s amazing how timeless his critiques and suggestions are to the design of cities. His attention to detail, movement/interaction patterns and object-spacial relationships is incredible. His witty narration is also pretty boss.

Art mode is back in for Pinna 1.0. When Pinna is in the background it immediately gets out of your way and the UI animates down to display the currently playing artwork. When you come back to Pinna, the artwork animates back up to the full UI. Once you use it (very soon!) you’re gonna love it and never turn it off. Thanks to Brian Amerige for providing feedback.

The Right Thing
Everybody needs to work for a startup or do their own thing. Everyone should experience struggle and resulting success. If you haven’t gotten your ass kicked on the job or learned anything, than you need a new job. You should feel burnt out and hate to love your job. That’s how you know you’re doing the right thing.
